Feastlee ("we," "our," or "us") is a recipe management app that lets you save, organise, and cook recipes. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
Recipes & collections: Content you save, import, or create inside the app.
Import sources: URLs or content you submit from YouTube or Instagram to import recipes.
Subscription & billing: If you subscribe to Feastlee Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We store only your subscription status and Stripe customer ID — we never see your card details.
Usage data: Basic app activity (e.g. number of imports) used to apply free-plan limits.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the app and its features.
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To process your subscription and manage Pro access.
To import and parse recipe content from URLs you provide.
To send you important service notices (e.g. subscription changes).

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Google – for sign-in authentication.
Stripe – for payment processing.
Groq – our AI provider used to parse and structure recipe content. Only the recipe URL or text you submit is sent; no personal account data is shared.
Apify / RapidAPI – used to extract content from YouTube and Instagram URLs you provide.

All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

4. Data Retention

Your account and recipe data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, secure token storage, and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

Feastlee is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
